Just Looking, Thanks...
I don't know about you, but out here on the web, there are times I find there is
too much detail and too many distractions. I don't care what "people who bought
this item also bought."
Jus' Lookin'...
I don't want to squash the bug, shock the monkey or shoot the bad guy to see if
I've won a prize. And I really get annoyed when the flash animation floats
across the item I'm trying to read and I have to play "find the close button."
's'lookin'...
I just want to look around -- browse books or movies or whatever without the
constant up-sell, or animations trying to pull my eye away from the thing I
want to look at.
slookin.com...
...doesn't know your name, age, sex or zip code (and it never asks.)
Slookin doesn't analyze your search patterns or display "targeted advertising."
Slookin doesn't keep trying to guess the way into your wallet. In short, we do
everything the marketing experts say not to do because " it
leaves money on the table." Well, in our view, it's your money. We just
show you the stuff. If something seems interesting, go to the detailed
view and read more. Want to judge a book (or movie) by
it's cover? Turn on the pictures. Slookin tries to give you enough detail to
satisfy your curiosity without overwhelming you.
